Chapter Director Information


What is a Chapter Director?

Throughout our country and overseas, we have volunteer leaders who oversee local chapters in their community. Chapter Directors are responsible for participating in local community events, assisting our members with locating resources, organizing volunteer teams, and being a voice for our military families on issues facing their community.

The all-volunteer team represent people who want to serve our military community and support our families wherever they may be stationed; whether you are active duty or reserves, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, Air Force or National Guard, we are here for you.

Additionally, Blue Star Families is a certifying organization for the Presidential Service Award and we honor our volunteers every April with recognition activities.
