Team Brad Goes for the Gold!

Team Brad Paralympics 2012 - Going for the Gold for U.S.A. and Helping Veterans

“I’m going to show people that I’m not going to let this beat me. I’m not going to let blindness build a brick wall around me. I am going to find a way forward.”- Lt. Brad Snyder

Please join SargesList, sponsor/advocate of the Team Brad Fundraiser, as we proudly honor and support swimmer and wounded warrior, Naval Officer Lt. Brad Snyder, as he competes in the 2012 London Paralympics.  Lt. Snyder has overcome all odds since losing his vision in Afghanistan on September 7, 2011 when he was injured by an IED.

Lt. Brad Snyder, Navy EOD officer who was blinded in Afghanistan last year and will be swimming in the London Paralympics. Because of a close friendship with Brad and our deep commitment to military communities, we decided to step in on behalf of Lt. Snyder to raise some badly-needed funds for the Commit Foundation, a worthy organization that helped him get back on his feet. Commit is a small, innovative nonprofit that focuses on helping those veterans who are at risk of falling through the cracks of big bureaucracy. To date, the Commit founders have used primarily personal funds to help the veterans in their program.. We are hoping to change that in a big way. Our goal is to raise $25,000+ in Brad's name, enough to help about 15 more veterans through their transition into the civilian world.

Pleas take some time to review Teambrad2012.org.

Snyder credits a great deal of his recovery to The COMMIT Foundation, an organization that helps veterans transition from the uniformed services into the private sector. Snyder is using his efforts to help other veterans and all proceeds from TEAM BRAD fundraiser will benefit The COMMIT Foundation.
