Acadia National Park: Take a walk with Estee Moran

Estee Moran and her family spent time recently at Acadia National Park.  And while, at first, Estee and her brother Ethan weren't thrilled with the idea of traipsing through the park, they changed their tune and have even shared a little of their adventure with us! Here are a few photos with captions written by Estee.

"When we went on the Precipice Trail, we followed the blue marks telling us where to go. This park ranger was painting the blue marks so they would show up better and we wouldn't get lost."

"This shaky bridge on the Precipice Trail caused me, my dad and my brother to go one at a time."

"Here I'm trying to push Bubble Rock off the cliff. It did not work. But it was still fun to try!"

"On the Gorham Mountain Trail, there were a lot of cairns. What are cairns? They are carefully constructed piles of rocks to help guide hikers."
