I'm always telling people I have the best job in the world.  This weekend definitely proved it when I got to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka "Will and Kate."

Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will join ServiceNation: Mission Serve and Blue Star Families to participate in a hiring fair and service project at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, California.

Blue Star Families is excited to be part of this initiative, with an exciting new program honoring our military families, veterans and service members launching tomorrow!  First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will launch a national initiative to support and honor America’s service members and their families on Tuesday, April 12^th at the White House.

Throughout their lives, our military kids endure a lot. They attend multiple schools, sometimes moving mid-school year, they deal with a parent coming and going on a regular basis to both stateside and deployed locations, and they make new friends and leave old friends repeatedly.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day, the wind wasn't that bad at my house. I had everything in the car ready to go and my girls dressed. So excited to get to hold this event at the mall, and meet Jordan from the Cherry Point BSF chapter.

Blue Star Families (BSF) will bring its popular program to thank the children, parents and spouses of military service members to Cross Creek Mall, allowing mall goers to write cards of thanks to our military families.
